Bologna International Airport “Guglielmo Marconi”
Bologna International Airport is situated 1 hour drive north of Rimini and is the fourth most important international airport in Italy. It features scheduled flights to / from 94 international destinations, among which the most important daily flights to / from Frankfurt, London, Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, Rome for intercontinental connections.

Rimini airport – 4.5 km from the city centre

By train

As for train connections, high-speed railway links have been extended along the Adriatic coast. Trenitalia connects Milan to Ancona bringing increased accessibility and rapid links with the Riviera.

From Bologna Centrale Railway Station frequent regular and high-speed trains connecting Rimini in approx. 50-60 minutes.

From Milano Centrale Railway Station frequent regular and high-speed trains (23 trains per day) connecting Rimini in 2.5 hrs.

From Ancona Railway Station there are frequent regular and Frecciarossa high-speed trains connecting Rimini in approx. 45-50 minutes.

By bus

By car

On the A14 from Rimini it is easy to link up with the A4 for Venice, the A22 for the Brenner Pass and the A1 for Florence, Rome and Naples.

By METROMARE
METROMARE is the recently inaugurated, zero emissions electric bus that connects Rimini and Riccione railway stations. It runs daily every 25 minutes with 15 intermediate stops.

By bike
Rimini is a bike friendly city, with an increasing number of greenways and cycle paths. All hotels offers bicycles for their guests and the Municipality also offers a bike sharing service. Rimini station has a brand new Bike Park for renting and parking bicycles and includes a repair service. The entire area has recently been redeveloped to promote intermodality between local public transport, railway services and the cycle and pedestrian mobility system.
