For ECSCW 2026, the paper template for conference submissions has been redesigned from the ground up to become the new standard template for all EUSSET conferences (also including C&T and InfraHealth).

Microsoft Word: EUSSET Submission Format Instructions v0.1 – bundles all required fonts (manual installation required)
Please note: Since ECSCW 2026 will be the first time this new template is used, we expect to encounter bugs. If anything does not look or work as expected, please contact Julian Fietkau or file an issue through Codeberg. We may release updated versions of the template here in case of important fixes.
Differences to the previous ECSCW template include:
- A more modern look including a new page layout and different font choices
- Convenient for digital reading: clickable links & full-color figures
- Support for DOI and ISBN identifiers as well as web URLs in literature references
- A more compact and legible author list including support for ORCID and ROR identifiers as well as (in the LaTeX version) a simple toggle for anonymization
- Forward-looking use of new accessibility features including alternative text for images (in the LaTeX version)
- Inline copyright declaration: as a submitter, make your choice of open access license or reproduction permission directly in the camera-ready version
- Enhanced PDF metadata support: final documents are easier to find and parse by external services such as Google Scholar (applies to the LaTeX version)
