To ensure smooth sailing for ECSCW 2023, we are looking for student volunteers (SVs) to support the daily operations of the conference. As an SV, you have the opportunity to attend the conference while having unique access to the backstage view of how the conference is run.
SVs are expected to work around 20 hours throughout the conference, where duties may include: checking in attendees; setting up and supporting sessions; general assistance to conference organization; and being a helpful and supportive presence to conference attendees. As an SV, you will receive free access to all the conference sessions, reception and conference dinner, a kick-off dinner during the planning meeting, and an SV t-shirt. This is also a good opportunity to interact closely with fellow junior and senior researchers.
ECSCW 2023 will be a physical conference held at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and SVs are expected to take care of their travel and accommodation.
Eligibility Requirements
- You are 18 years or older on June 4th, 2023.
- You are a full-time student (proof of enrolment required if selected).
- You are able to attend the kick-off meeting on June 4th, 2023 (in the afternoon or evening) and the full conference (June 5th – 9th) in person.
- You have a professional and proactive attitude.
