The conference will be held at the San Francisco Convent. The San Francisco Convent, located in the center of town, is a fusion of the old and modern architecture and is an emblematic building of Coimbra landscape. Founded in the early 16th century, throughout its history, it served as a hospital and barracks, and housed an important textile manufacturing unit. Acquired by the Coimbra Municipal Council, the building now serves its new vocation as the Cultural and Congress Center of the city of Coimbra. For a full map of ECSCW 2022 relevant places go here.

Important rooms in the convent are: Almedina (main conference room – 2nd floor), Conventual (coffee-breaks and lunches – 1st floor), and old church (conference dinner – level floor).
